State of the Region Provides Four Indicator Updates

An updated 6.9 Insurance Coverage (Health topic area) reveals an improvement in the number of uninsured Western New Yorkers. Also, new data in the Regional Assets topic area show support for nonprofit arts and cultural groups in Western New York increased between 2000 and 2004 (11.4 Support for the Arts).

Other indicators updated as of June 2006 are: 8.1 Feeding the Hungry (Human Services) and 5.2 Computer Use (Technology & Information).
