2000 Progress Report
Committed to its mission of measuring regional performance and progress toward indicator goals, the first State of the Region progress report was released in November 2000. State of the Region: Progress Report 2000 for the Buffalo-Niagara Region includes 44 updated, revised and new indicators, as well as a qualitative analysis of the region’s efforts to improve performance in key areas. ...read more

1999 Baseline Report

Released in 1999, the State of the Region project’s baseline report, State of the Region: Performance Indicators for the Buffalo-Niagara Region in the 21st Century, culminated a year-long effort by the University at Buffalo Regional Institute and more than 200 citizens and community leaders. The first State of the Region report initiated this process of monitoring and measuring performance and motivating action in areas central to the competitive standing and quality of life in Buffalo Niagara. ...read more
