Jennifer joined the UBRI team in 2023 and serves as an Office Administrator, providing support and assistance to the UBRI staff. She performs a variety of tasks including working with UBRI leadership to ensure overall budget strategy and project allocations. She oversees UBRI’s fiscal management with sponsor agencies, submitting expenses, tracking invoices, preparing financial reports, and maintaining databases related to various projects. Her role also includes general office management duties related to the UBRI office.
Prior to joining UBRI, Jennifer worked in both school management and financial settings. She brings with her over 15 years of experience in office management and fiscal budgeting as well as skills in data analysis and assessment.
Jennifer holds a bachelor’s degree in biology in secondary science education from the State University of New York College at Buffalo. While there, she was an active member of the Sigma Xi Scientific Research Honor Society for her work on protein structures. She is proud to have been born and raised in Buffalo and currently resides in Tonawanda with her husband and children. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family, baking, reading, and exploring the many hidden gems of the Buffalo Niagara region.
