Vacant Properties

A partnership of the Regional Institute, Local Initiatives Service Corp., City of Buffalo, Amherst Industrial Development Agency and the towns of Tonawanda, Amherst and Cheektowaga secured technical support from the National Vacant Properties Campaign to conduct a multi-jurisdictional Vacant Property Systems Assessment. The effort’s synthesis report outlines action steps and policy recommendations for the region’s vacant properties challenges which are consistent with broader regional development strategies.
