The UB Regional Institute hosted a public information website on the 2007 federal relicensing of the Niagara Power Project, a key policy issue for the Buffalo Niagara region. The creation of the website was solicited and sponsored by the bi-county Western New York Relicensing Consensus Committee, which worked to ensure public participation in the relicensing process. At the close of the public engagement effort the website was taken offline.
